Established in 2024 and presented by Virginia Credit Union, the Chesterfield Sports Hall of Fame honors individuals who have significantly contributed to the county’s rich sports legacy. This recognition celebrates athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors who have demonstrated exceptional integrity and sportsmanship throughout their careers.
The inaugural induction ceremony took place on September 12, 2024, at the Perkinson Center for the Arts & Education. Inductees are commemorated with a permanent display at the River City Sportsplex in Midlothian, Virginia, serving as a source of inspiration for future generations. Residents and visitors can visit the Hall of Fame display at River City Sportsplex located at 13030 Genito Road.
